Location:  Bloomington, MN or San Antonio, TX

The Research Director is responsible for participating in all phases of test product development and is the primary lead in developing test items, and working with the author(s) regarding test content and format.  Working with Psychometrics, is responsible for the final data set, developing and reviewing data analysis plan, and reviewing the final data included in the Examiner's Manual.  The RD develops the outline for the Examiner's Manual and writes several chapters.  Directly manages work of content developer & approves materials written by authors and others. 
Requirements: License or certification in speech-language pathology and have 3-5 yrs of clinical experience in administration and interpretation of language and speech tests. Recent experience with treatment/education of children with language/ learning impairments/ special education is a plus. Masters in speech-language pathology or occupational therapy. Ph. D. in speech-language pathology or occupational therapy and bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has an excellent opportunity available for a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. As part of the Rehabilitation Services Department, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our speech-language pathology patients. This involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising speech-language pathology staff and students, and maintaining documentation of activities. In addition, you will serve as an educational resource to patients and their families.  

To qualify you must be fluent in Spanish; have a master’s degree in communication disorders/speech-language pathology; current Georgia speech-language pathology licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Georgia and proof of application); and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. BLS certification is also required. Preferred applicants will have at least 1 year of pediatric experience in speech-language pathology. Proficiency with Windows programs and software applications is crucial, as are strong communication, interpersonal and team-working skills.

Asst Prof:  Nazareth College’s Com Sciences and Disorders Dept seeks applicants for a tenure-track position starting August 2010.  Qualifications include an earned doctorate and CCC-SLP. Responsibilities include teaching undergrad/grad courses, clinical supervision, research and college service. Non-tenure eligible position beginning with the 2010 academic year, to supervise graduate students obtaining clinical hours in the audiology clinic and teach undergraduate courses in audiology; opportunities may exist to develop graduate level course(s). The candidate will develop a line of scholarly inquiry appropriate for a clinical position and participate in the life of the college through appropriate committee work, student advising/mentoring, and professional service. This position includes teaching and supervision during the academic year, as well as supervision in the summer, paid through an additional stipend.
